Description
The Office of State Procurement is seeking bids for the provision of fiberglass grating. The grating should be molded green fiberglass with SGF polyester resin, have a grid surface that is grit-coated, and be UV resistant and fire retardant rated Class A per ASTM E-84. The grating should also have a maximum deflection of 0.2" under a uniform load of 100 pounds per square foot over a 30-inch span. The successful bidder will be required to deliver the grating to the LDWF Pointe Aux Chenes WMA in Montegut, Louisiana.
• The grating should be 83 panels, each 48" x 144" in size.
• The grid shape should be ¾" x ¾" on center for the top and 1½" x 1½" on center for the height.
• The top grid thickness should be 9/32" and the bottom grid thickness should be 13/64".
• The grid top height should be 15/32" and the percent open area should be 44%.
• The grating should be bundled or spaced appropriately for safe unloading and delivered in a manner compatible with LDWF off-loading equipment.
