Description
The City of Dayton is seeking bids for the purchase of 14-foot tandem dump bodies and 58K lb. GVWR chassis. The successful bidder will be required to provide a firm price agreement for multiple units, with firm pricing from March 16, 2026, to February 28, 2027, and one option to renew at the City's discretion. The bid must include detailed warranty service contact information and pricing for the units.
• The chassis must be a diesel-powered conventional tandem type with a setback front axle.
• The unit must be equipped with a 14-foot dump body.
• The chassis must have a minimum GVW rating of 58,000 pounds.
• The unit must be delivered within 90 calendar days after receipt of a purchase order for on-the-lot inventory or within 120-150 calendar days for order bank units.
• The bid must include pricing for the units, as well as any applicable options or accessories.
• The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid that is determined to be in the best interest of the City.
