Request for Proposals Architectural Design Services Warehouse/Office Complex

The Montgomery County Public Schools is seeking an architectural firm to provide design services for the interior fit-out of a leased warehouse and office space located at 750 Progress Way, Gaithersburg, Maryland. The project involves the design of approximately 161,500 square feet of office and warehouse space. The selected firm will provide comprehensive architectural and engineering services, including concept/preliminary design, final design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration. The firm will also be responsible for conducting stakeholder review meetings and providing project management services. • The project requires the firm to have experience in designing warehouse and office spaces, as well as experience working with Montgomery County permitting and inspection groups. • The firm must provide a fee proposal, including line items for architect fees, consultant fees, and total fees. • The firm must also provide a project design timeline, staffing, and approach. • The project has a budget of $11 million dollars. • The firm must be licensed as an architectural firm in the State of Maryland and must provide proof of current business and professional licensing.
