Description
The Department of Fish and Game, Division of Fisheries and Wildlife, is seeking a qualified contractor to conduct well refurbishments at the Sandwich State Fish Hatchery. The project involves the redevelopment of two gravel-packed wells, refurbishment or replacement of existing pumps and motors, and repair or replacement of a water level sensor. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for a complete job. The project is expected to start between May 1, 2026, and July 1, 2026, and must be completed by August 31, 2026. The estimated project value is $100,000.
• The contractor will be required to provide a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid price.
• The contractor will be required to provide performance and payment bonds in the amount of the contract sum.
• The contractor will be required to provide insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, vehicle liability, and worker's compensation.
• The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to affirmative action and prevailing wage rates.
