Description

The City of Meriden’s Department of Public Utilities – Water Division is soliciting qualified contractors to rehabilitate two municipal water wells (Platt and Lincoln). Budget estimate

$60,000 – $160,000

Based on typical municipal well‑rehabilitation contracts, each well can range from $30,000 to $80,000 depending on depth, equipment size, and chemical treatment complexity. With two wells, the total contract value is likely between $60,000 and $160,000. The estimate assumes a lump‑sum pricing model, inclusion of all permits, labor, materials, and disposal costs, and excludes any optional repairs beyond the scope defined in the RFP.
