Description
The Town of Sharpsburg is seeking bids for the demolition/clearance and asbestos removal of one house, as well as the provision/installation of one State Building Code modular house. The project is funded by a federal 2021 CDBG-NR grant of $750,000, which represents 100% of the total project costs. Bidders must comply with various federal requirements, including Section 109 and E.O. 11246, and the Town encourages participation from Small and Minority/Women Owned Business and Historically Underutilized Businesses. The scope of work includes:
• Demolition/clearance and asbestos removal of one house
• Provision/installation of one State Building Code modular house
• Compliance with federal CDBG requirements and other regulations
• Participation in efforts to increase contract participation for Small and Minority/Women Owned Business and Historically Underutilized Businesses
