NdFeB Magnet Block IDIQ

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking proposals for the acquisition of commercial items using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15. The solicitation is for a long-term, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the production of NdFeB Magnet Block in grades N38EH, N45SH, N48SH, and N52. The IDIQ contract will have a five-year base ordering period, with a guaranteed minimum of $3,000,000 and a maximum of $200,000,000. The contractor must be capable of producing the magnet block in the United States or its outlying areas. The evaluation factors will include production capability, technical approach, past performance, and price. • The contractor must provide evidence of an ACTIVE registration in SAM.gov. • The contractor must provide a cover letter, SAM certifications, production capability, technical approach, past performance, and price proposal. • The contractor must be able to deliver the magnet block within 12 months of the issuance of each delivery order. • The contractor must be able to produce the magnet block to the desired specifications for the year 1 table quantity for each grade of magnet.
