Request for Proposals - Degree Verification Service

The State of Oregon, acting by and through its Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS), is issuing this Intermediate Request for Proposals (RFP) for a qualified provider of Degree Verification Services. The services are needed during the hiring verification process of ODHS staff. The contractor will provide degree verification services to ODHS upon request from the Office of Human Resources (OHR). The contractor will obtain confirmation and documentation from the educational or instructional institutions that issued the educational credentials, and submit a Degree Verification Report to OHR. The report will include information on whether the credentials are verified, and any discrepancies found. The contractor will also submit a monthly report to the ODHS Contract Administrator. • The contractor will provide degree verification services for approximately 100 inquiries per month. • The contractor will have access to a secure online portal or alternative secure form of electronic communication for information exchange. • The contractor will notify OHR within 24 hours if discrepancies are discovered in the information provided. • The contractor will submit a Degree Verification Report to OHR within one business day of receiving the request. • The contractor will maintain confidentiality and data privacy in accordance with ODHS policies and procedures.
