AIRCRAFT, STRATOFORTRESSB-52; WHEEL, LANDING GEAR (TIP GEAR)

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the manufacture of a WHEEL, LANDING GEAR (TIP GEAR) for the AIRCRAFT, STRATOFORTRESSB-52. The selected contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment required to accomplish the new manufacture of the item. This includes procurement/manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping. Potential sources may also be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, and shipping serviceable assets. • The unit prices will be established at the time of contract award. • The estimated annual demand is 20 Each. • The selected contractor will need to provide all necessary documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. • The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in the notice.
