Description
The Chattooga County Schools is seeking bids for the construction of a security vestibule at Summerville Middle School. The project involves the construction of a security vestibule in the existing vestibule. The bidder is required to submit a bid bond in the amount of five percent of the base bid, and performance and payment bonds in the amount of one-hundred percent of the contract sum prior to commencement of construction.
• The bid documents can be examined at Southern A & E’s office or by requesting a password and link to Southern A & E’s online plan service.
• A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Summerville Middle School on April 3rd at 10:00 AM.
• Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on April 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM ET.
• The bidder shall comply with the provisions of O.C.G.A. 13-10-91, Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act, and O.C.G.A. 50-36-1, Verification of Lawful Presence Within United States.
