Description
The Texas Juvenile Justice Department is seeking a vendor to replace and install a control panel and gate operator system for the Sally Port at the Evins State Juvenile Correctional Facility. The vendor must have demonstrated expertise in secure gate and access control systems and must hold all required licenses and certifications. The scope of work includes assessment of existing equipment, installation of new components, system integration, testing, and verification of proper operation.
• The contract term is from 09/01/2026 to 08/31/2027.
• The period of performance is estimated to be six months.
• The vendor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform the services.
• The vendor must participate in the commissioning process and provide operator training.
• The vendor must submit a subcontracting plan and comply with the Texas Comptroller's Veteran Heroes United in Business (VetHUB) program.
