Amendment 01, Sources Sought for Stinger Engineering Services

The US Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal is seeking sources for engineering services to support the Stinger Weapon System. The contractor will provide technical support, systems engineering, and logistics functions, including reliability assessments, failure analysis, and test support. The scope of work includes support for the production, test, fielding, and sustainment of the Stinger missiles and associated launchers, field test equipment, and documentation. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing technical expertise for Stinger missiles and launchers • Performing reliability assessments and failure analysis • Supporting test activities and providing manufacturing engineering support • Providing design and technical support for test equipment • Supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers The ideal contractor will have experience with missile systems, launch platforms, and infrared/ultraviolet seekers, as well as experience with complex system engineering, manufacturing support, and test equipment design.
