2027 003 CONSTRUCTION OF ATHLETIC FLOOR SYSTEM AMBUCS PARK

The Spalding County Board of Commissioners is seeking proposals for the construction of an athletic floor system at the AMBUCS Park Community Center. The project includes the installation of a high-quality athletic flooring system, site preparation, and associated improvements. The contractor will be responsible for verifying court dimensions, coordinating work with facility operations, following safety regulations, providing warranties, and maintaining a clean job site. The project has a mandatory pre-bid site visit and a 90-day timeline for completion after the issuance of the purchase order. • The athletic floor system must comply with ASTM F2772 – Standard Specification for Indoor Sports Floor Systems. • The system must provide consistent ball rebound comparable to a standard hardwood sports floor. • The surface must provide a coefficient of friction suitable for indoor court sports. • The system must provide adequate impact attenuation for multi-sport use, including basketball, pickleball, and volleyball. • The contractor must provide and install an ElastiPlus 7+2 pad and pour athletic floor system, install black cove base along all gymnasium walls, and install transitions at all doorways and openings.
