Description
The Alaska Railroad Corporation (ARRC) is seeking a contractor to provide grading, paving, striping, and traffic control for upgrades to the Pease Avenue and Artillery Road crossings on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska. The project includes paving up to 50 feet on each side and between the two sets of tracks of an upgraded crossing on Pease Ave and Artillery Rd. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment and personnel to complete the work. The project is expected to start on September 1, 2026, and be completed by October 30, 2026.
• The contractor will be required to coordinate with ARRC personnel for operational support and construction windows.
• The contractor will be responsible for providing traffic control and ensuring the safety of the public and workers during the project.
• The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable federal and state regulations, including those related to environmental protection and labor laws.
• The contractor will be required to provide a site-specific safety plan and to ensure that all workers are trained in accordance with ARRC's safety policies.
