Description
The project involves renovating 70 bedroom units and hardening walls at the Finger Lakes Residential Center in Lansing, New York. The contract is divided into four separate trades: Construction Work, HVAC Work, Plumbing Work, and Electrical Work. The project has a substantial completion date of 588 days after the agreement is approved by the Comptroller. The Office of General Services has established overall goals for MWBE participation, including 30% for MWBE participation, 15% for MBE participation, and 15% for WBE participation. The project also has goals for SDVOB participation, ranging from 3% to 6% depending on the trade.

• The contract is expected to be between $4,000,000 and $5,000,000 for the Construction Work trade.

• Bidders are required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond pursuant to Sections 136 and 137 of the State Finance Law.
