LSCC Window Covering Upgrade Project

The City of Palo Alto is seeking bids for the LSCC Window Covering Upgrade Project. The project involves removing existing window drapery and hardware, fabricating new pinch pleat drapery from customer-owned material, and installing new window hardware and drapery. The project also includes removing existing window shades and hardware, fabricating new flat roman shades from customer-owned material, and installing new window shades and hardware. Additionally, the project requires removing existing door glass window coverings, fabricating new roller shade coverings from vendor-supplied material, and installing new door glass roller shades and hardware. The contractor will be responsible for supplying customer-specified mounting hardware and linings as specified for pinch pleat drapery, flat roman shades, and door glass roller shades. The project is expected to commence on or about May 1, 2026, and be completed within 30 calendar days. • The project requires a valid State of California Contractor’s License in the category of Class B or C-61 or D-52. • The project is subject to prevailing wages and related requirements as a “public works” under California Labor Code Sections 1720 et seq. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies, including those related to employment, labor, and environmental protection. • The contractor must provide proof of valid contractor’s license, insurance, and other required documentation. • The contractor must comply with the City’s general conditions, special provisions, and technical specifications.
