Description
The Macon‑Bibb County Board of Commissioners is seeking a single lessee to farm approximately 179.6 acres of land adjacent to the Middle Georgia Regional Airport. The lease will cover four contiguous parcels (21.39, 12.62, 128.37, and 17.23 acres) for a term of five years, with the lessee responsible for all agricultural production, property maintenance, compliance with FAA and airport wildlife‑hazard regulations, and payment of annual rent. The County will not divide the parcels among multiple bidders; the award will be to one entity that can demonstrate sufficient agricultural experience, a robust crop‑management plan, and the ability to protect airport operations.
