Description
The Navy is procuring ten Level I Special‑Emphasis periscope outer tubes (Class 316 stainless steel) for a critical shipboard system. The contractor must provide full material traceability, perform extensive testing (intergranular corrosion, hydrostatic pressure, and non‑destructive inspection), obtain first‑article approval, and comply with a rigorous quality‑system regime (ISO‑9001, MIL‑I‑45208, welding/brazing certifications). Delivery must occur within 365 days of contract award, with a one‑year warranty, and all certification data must be submitted via WAWF/ECDS. • Deliver to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (DODAAC N50286) within 365 days; warranty of one year from delivery.
• All documentation (CDRL‑DI‑MISC‑80678, FAT report, welding procedure qualifications) must be submitted through ECDS/WAWF.
