This solicitation calls for a qualified contractor to inspect, repair, sand, seal, stain, coat, wax, line‑stripe, demolish, and install new wood and gymnasium flooring across multiple Newark Board of Education facilities, adhering to MFMA and WSFI standards. The work includes providing and installing all required base‑board, trim, sub‑floor systems, and ensuring daily clean‑up and safety notifications. The contract is for two years with an optional two‑year renewal, and the award will be based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid.
• Scope covers full lifecycle of wood‑floor work: repair, finish, and new installation with required materials (hard‑maple strips, primers, membranes, sleepers, trim, etc.).
