Description

The City of Tulsa is seeking a qualified vendor to supply and install solid‑state inductive vehicle loops, lead‑in wiring, detectors, conduit, and pull boxes for traffic signal detection throughout the metropolitan area on an as‑needed basis. Work must meet City, ODOT, and MUTCD specifications, include required traffic control measures, and be performed promptly after a location is assigned. The contract is a one‑year base period with up to four optional one‑year renewals and possible 90‑day extensions. Bids must be sealed, include a 3 % performance bond, and be submitted by the deadline. • Provide and install 6′×6′, 6′×30′, and 6′×50′ inductive loops, lead cable, and pull boxes (Type I & II). • Supply and install 1″ conduit (trenched and bored) with all required temporary traffic control plans. • Meet all applicable City of Tulsa specifications, ODOT 2019 standards, MUTCD, and local storm‑water ordinances; warranty minimum one year; maintain required insurance and bonding. • Pricing is “installed price” with no increases during the first year; annual price adjustment up to 10 % may be applied thereafter. • The contract may be split among multiple vendors; the award will go to the lowest secure bidder meeting all requirements.

Budget estimate

$500,000 – $1,200,000

The solicitation caps the annual spend at $1,181,200. Assuming the vendor wins the full scope, the contract value would be roughly $1.1 – 1.2 million for the first year. Smaller vendors winning only part of the work might see revenues in the $500 k‑$800 k range. Therefore, a reasonable estimate spans $500,000 to $1,200,000, depending on the portion of the award captured.
