Description
This solicitation seeks qualified physicians, surgeons, and a chief medical officer to provide temporary or relief medical services at the Veterans Home of California – West Los Angeles. The contractor must supply on‑demand, on‑site coverage, ensure all providers are licensed in California, meet a 30‑mile proximity requirement, and comply with extensive credentialing, background check, health‑clearance, and insurance obligations. The agreement is a fixed‑price, two‑year contract (Aug 1 2026 – Jul 31 2028) with monthly invoicing and strict response‑time and notice requirements.
• Provide direct medical services in ambulatory, skilled‑nursing, and residential‑care facilities, including assessments, treatment planning, and chief‑medical‑officer oversight.
• All providers must hold a current California medical license, be board‑certified/eligible in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice, and meet health and background‑check standards before assignment.
• Contractor must maintain $1 M general liability, $1 M professional liability, $1 M automobile liability, and workers’ compensation coverage, and act as a HIPAA Business Associate.
