Description
The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNSY) is seeking sources capable of providing 2000 inches of tube metallic 70-30 seamless. The tube should meet the specifications outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and Specs. The contract is anticipated to be a firm fixed price (FFP) contract.
• The tube should be made of copper-nickel alloy, seamless and welded, with a composition of 70-30, temper: annealed, type: I, class: 3300, grade: 2.
• The tube should have an actual outside diameter of 0.375 inches and a wall thickness of 0.049 inches minimum.
• The tube should be cleaned by any process or combination of processes that will accomplish thorough cleaning without damage to the part.
• The tube should be inspected and tested according to the specifications outlined in the SOW and Specs.
• The seller should provide certification of quality conformance, including the heat number, and should satisfy the requirement for submittal of "objective quality evidence" per STR-505.
