Citywide Sidewalk Improvements Phase II, Project No. ST-2027-04

The City of Corona is seeking qualified “A” General Engineering Contractors to perform a city‑wide sidewalk rehabilitation (Phase II). The scope includes demolition of approximately 347,704 sf of existing PCC sidewalk, installation of new PCC sidewalk to city standards, traffic control, best‑management‑practice implementation, public notifications, water consumption, potholing, clearing and grubbing, construction surveying, and in‑kind replacement of landscape and irrigation. Optional alternates cover removal of 54 small trees, 162 larger trees, and root‑pruning per the Urban Forest Management Plan. Bidders must provide a 10 % bid bond, 100 % performance and payment bonds, CARB diesel‑fleet compliance certificates, DIR registration for all subcontractors, and a minimum 50 % self‑performance rate. The contract is for 300 working days (plus a 7‑day move‑in period) with an estimated value of $4.4‑$4.7 million.
