The City of Salina is soliciting bids for the design‑build of a new scale‑house facility and associated entrance improvements at the municipal solid waste landfill. The contract encompasses demolition of the existing scale house, extensive earthwork, new utility installation, concrete paving, construction of a 1,500‑gal septic tank, a new scale‑house building with steel deck scales, electrical service, a diesel generator, and comprehensive site‑improvement items such as fencing, lighting, gates, and landscaping.
