AIM-9X Lots 27-29 Production

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to procure the production of Lots 27-29 AIM-9X Sidewinder Missiles. This will be a new Fixed Price Incentive Firm (FPIF) contract with a base year and two options. The production procurement includes a maximum quantity of 7,500 AIM-9X missiles, containers, obsolescence support and material, spares and associated material parts, tooling, support equipment, maintenance kits, sectionalization kits, Special Test Equipment (STE), and other related supplies and data for the United States Navy, United States Air Force, United States Army, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. • The contract will be awarded sole source to Raytheon Company. • The quantities identified are estimated and may be adjusted to reflect other quantities authorized and appropriated by Congress and/or requested by FMS customers. • There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract or contracts.
