The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to fully demolish the former Ambassador building at 1616 W Crawford St. and perform associated site work. The scope includes complete removal of all structures, foundations, utilities, and a swimming pool, capping of an active fire‑suppression water line, sealing of storm and sanitary sewers, and controlled debris removal limited to eight landfill loads per day. The contractor must hold a Class A‑C General Contractor license or a Specialty Demolition Contractor license, provide performance and payment bonds, and adhere to strict safety and utility abandonment requirements. • Complete demolition of building, foundations, basement, garages, sheds, driveways, sidewalks, and ancillary structures. • Remove and back‑fill swimming pool, cap fire‑suppression water line, and seal sewers within 5 ft of the property line. • Manage debris transport (max 8 loads/day), provide site barricades, maintain public sidewalks, and protect existing utilities. • Submit signed contract, performance bond, and required documentation within 10 days of award; maintain licensing compliance within the same window.
