Downtown Infrastructure Project

The City of Keene is seeking qualified bidders for the Downtown Infrastructure Improvements and Reconstruction Project. The project includes drain system improvements, water system improvements, sewer system improvements, raised stamped concrete intersections, and landscaping. The project will be completed in two phases over the 2026 and 2027 construction seasons. The bid documents include a detailed description of the project, including technical specifications and requirements. • Drain system improvements: removal and replacement of existing pipe, catch basins, drop inlets, and manholes • Water system improvements: removal, replacement, and installation of water main, gate valves, hydrants, and water services • Sewer system improvements: removal and replacement of existing sewer pipe and manholes • Raised stamped concrete intersections and rapid flashing pedestrian beacons • Landscaping: trees, shrubs, perennial plantings, loam, seed, and mulch • Traffic signal removal and replacement • Signage removal and replacement • Removal and disposal of existing storm drain and stormwater structures • Associated maintenance of traffic, erosion controls, SWPPP management, road and sidewalk reconstruction, and pavement markings
