Description
The Jefferson Parish Purchasing Department is seeking bids for labor and materials needed to supply and install canopies and a forklift parking area for the Jefferson Parish Emergency Management Department. The project includes the design, engineering, supply, and installation of a new steel extension canopy and a forklift parking area. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Louisiana State Contractor's License and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The project must be completed within 61 days of the notice to proceed.
• The contract price will be based on a lump sum bid.
• The bidder must provide an electronic bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price.
• The bidder must provide a performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount of 50% of the total contract price.
• The bidder must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to sales tax exemption and liquidated damages.
