Description
This solicitation seeks a firm‑fixed‑price, seven‑month rental and full‑service support for two propane‑powered (LPG) forklifts (one 6,000‑lb and one 12,000‑lb) at the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center in Birmingham, Alabama. The contractor must deliver, commission, provide preventive maintenance, unscheduled repairs, replacement equipment, on‑site LPG cylinder exchanges, operator safety training, and final demobilization. All costs for delivery, setup, maintenance, repairs, training, reports, and removal are bundled into a monthly price, with a separate not‑to‑exceed LPG fuel CLIN. Technical acceptability is required; the award will go to the lowest‑priced technically acceptable offer.
• Provide two LPG forklifts (6,000 lb & 12,000 lb) with delivery and commissioning by 1 Dec 2026.
• Perform monthly preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacement support; respond to replacement requests within 4 business days.
• Supply on‑demand LPG cylinder exchanges (fixed unit price, NTE ceiling) within 2 business days of request.
• Deliver initial operator/ safety training within 5 business days of delivery and one additional session within 10 business days of request.
• Remove both forklifts within 5 business days after contract expiration (30 Jun 2027).
