Abrams Training System Sources Sought

The US Army is seeking information from companies regarding the upgrade of existing Abrams Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, Simulations (TADSS) and/or the development of future replacement training systems. The focus of this initiative is to enhance the training and readiness of Abrams tank crews and maintainers. The current TADSS portfolio includes five key systems: Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT), Advanced Gunnery Training System (AGTS), Common Driver Trainer (CDT), Hands-On Turret Trainer (HOT), and Engine Diagnostic and Troubleshooting Trainer (EDTT). The Army is interested in exploring innovative solutions to modernize existing systems or provide a comprehensive replacement with next-generation capabilities. • The Army is looking for companies with experience in developing or supporting Live, Virtual, or Constructive Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS). • The Army is interested in companies with experience in developing TADSS for the Abrams platform or other military systems. • The Army is seeking information on companies' capabilities and experience with program management, hardware, software, and systems engineering, configuration management, cybersecurity, production, and sustainment. • The Army is looking for companies with experience in developing and implementing complex scoring and grading algorithms for training systems. • The Army is interested in companies with experience in creating After Action Review (AAR) systems and providing realistic and immersive virtual environments for training purposes.
