Jones Street Roadway Improvements - CDBG-NR

The Town of Tabor City is seeking bids for the Jones Street Roadway Improvements project, which includes the installation of curb and gutter, storm pipe, and regrading and paving of Jones Street. The project is funded by the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) and is subject to federal requirements, including the Build America, Buy America Act. The town is committed to increasing participation of Small, Minority/Women-Owned Business, Veteran-Owned, and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) in construction projects. • The project involves the installation of approximately 1,300 l.f. curb and gutter and 1,055 l.f. of 15” HP storm pipe. • The project requires compliance with federal CDBG requirements, including Section 109 and E.O. 11246, which prohibits discrimination in employment. • Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Davis Bacon Act, Anti-Kickback Act, and Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. • The town reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
