16th Street & Grand Avenue Intersection Improvements

The City of West Des Moines is seeking bids for the 16th Street & Grand Avenue Intersection Improvements project. The project includes the construction of improvements such as excavation, pavement removal, concrete pavement and widening, storm sewer installation, and traffic signal installation. The project requires the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of the improvements. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. The project is expected to commence within 10 days of the written notice to proceed and shall be substantially completed by November 20, 2026, with a final completion date of April 30, 2027.
