Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive year‑round road‑maintenance services for the South Goldenview Rural Road Service Area, including snow‑removal, ice ripping, sanding, steam thawing, summer grading, drainage maintenance, and related equipment operation. Bidders must submit hourly rates (or per‑unit rates for aggregate and crack‑seal work) for a defined fleet of 19 equipment items and demonstrate the ability to meet Alaska vehicle standards, licensing, insurance, and local‑ or veteran‑preference criteria.
• Scope covers winter services (snow clearing, sanding, steam thawing) and summer services (grading, ditch cleaning, pavement maintenance, crack sealing, etc.).
• Requires ownership or lease of a minimum equipment list (graders, loaders, dump trucks, snow‑blowers, steam‑boiler vans, water‑flusher trucks, mini‑excavators, mowers, rollers, etc.) with qualified operators.
