Description
This solicitation seeks a contractor to perform point‑repair, rehabilitation, and replacement of water and sewer infrastructure throughout St. Tammany Parish, including emergency repairs, limited new extensions, and associated roadway work. The work encompasses excavation, well‑point de‑watering, pipe installation (PVC, HDPE, ductile iron), directional drilling, valve and fire‑hydrant installation, manhole and curb work, asphalt and concrete removal/placement, and final testing/inspection. The contract is awarded to the lowest responsible bidder and may run through 31 Dec 2026 with two optional one‑year extensions.
• Extensive utility‑repair scope: water & sewer line point repairs, force‑main installation, directional drilling, valve/ hydrant work, and related pavement/roadway tasks.
• Unit‑price format with over 150 line items (mobilization, excavation, pipe, fittings, testing, etc.).
• Bid security of 5 % of total bid, required performance bond (100 % of contract), and comprehensive insurance (CGL, Auto, WC, Pollution, Builder’s Risk, Installation Floater).
• Pre‑bid meeting (non‑mandatory) on 4 Jun 2026; questions due 11 Jun 2026; bid deadline 23 Jun 2026; award within 45 days after opening.
• Mandatory compliance items: acknowledgment of all addenda, corporate resolution, 5 % bid guarantee, and proper sealed envelope labeling.
