Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Evaluation, Repair, and Testing of Hose-McCann RMA Hardware for NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Hose-McCann Telephone Co. for the evaluation, testing, and repair of the NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer's internal communications public address systems hardware. The contract is being awarded on a sole source basis because Hose-McCann is the original equipment manufacturer and holds proprietary information and patents for the systems.
