Description
The Maryland State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is seeking a certified small‑business contractor to provide ongoing maintenance and preservation of environmental assets (landscaping, turf, trees, streams, wetlands) within its right‑of‑ways in Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties. Work includes seasonal pruning, mowing, weed control, debris removal, planting, and occasional supplemental tasks such as mulching, herbicide/insecticide applications, and stone installation, performed on a rotational basis or as directed. The contract will be awarded to a small‑business vendor meeting the state’s minority‑business participation goals and will require electronic bid submission via the Bid Express platform.
• Scope: Landscape and turf management, tree and shrub care, wetland/stream site upkeep, and related supplemental maintenance.
