Perimeter Security Fencing at the DeKalb Peachtree (PDK) Airport

The DeKalb County Government is soliciting bids for perimeter security fencing at the DeKalb Peachtree (PDK) Airport. The project includes removing existing fencing and gates, and installing new fencing and gates. The project site encompasses the perimeter of the airport's AOA, including street fronts along various roads. The contractor will be responsible for mobilization, removing existing fencing and gates, installing new fencing and gates, and constructing and maintaining construction exits and concrete washouts. The contract will be an "Indefinite Quantity" type, with the county making no promise to order any quantity whatsoever. The contractor must provide a bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the bid amount. • The project includes five base bids: Flightway & Corsair, Hardee & 6th, Clairmont, Dresden, and Interior Fencing. • The contractor must complete the vendor questionnaire and provide references. • The contractor must comply with the DeKalb County First Source Jobs Ordinance and make a good faith effort to hire DeKalb County residents for at least 50% of jobs. • The contractor must provide a bid bond and a performance bond.
