Notice of Intent for Computer-to-Itaglio Plate (CTIP)-III Engraved Metal Plates

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to award a sole source contract for the procurement of brass and stainless-steel plates compatible with the Office of Engraving's CTIP-III intaglio laser engraving machine. The plates are proprietary and can only be acquired from Koenig & Bauer (K&B) Banknote Solutions. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. • The contract is for the procurement of brass and stainless-steel plates. • The plates are compatible with the Office of Engraving's CTIP-III intaglio laser engraving machine. • The contract will be awarded to Koenig & Bauer (K&B) Banknote Solutions. • Interested sources must be registered and currently active in the System for Award Management (SAM).
