Inspecting, Cleaning, and CIPP Rehabilitation of Under-Slab Sanitary Sewer Pipelines in the Building D Basement

The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) is seeking a contractor to inspect, clean, and rehabilitate approximately 510 linear feet of 3”–4” cast iron sanitary sewer pipes in the Building D basement using the Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining method. The contractor will be responsible for removing blockages, rehabilitating the pipes, and restoring the structural integrity and operational functionality of the under-slab sanitary sewer system. The scope of work includes pre- and post-CCTV inspection, cleaning, CIPP lining, excavation, and concrete restoration. The contractor must comply with all applicable codes, directives, laws, procedures, practices, standards, regulations, and handbooks. • The contractor will use advanced techniques and equipment to detect and locate clogged, damaged, or defective under-slab sanitary sewer pipelines. • The contractor will restore full operational capacity of the basement sanitary drainage system. • The contractor will eliminate existing pipe blockages and prevent future backups. • The contractor will repair damaged and compromised cast iron piping using CIPP lining to extend system lifespan and avoid full pipe replacement. • The contractor will ensure all excavation activities are conducted safely and in accordance with utility detection and structural safety standards.
