Description
The State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, Harbors Division is seeking bids for the replacement of two existing fire risers and suppression system components at the Pier 1 Shed, Kahului Harbor, Maui, Hawaii. The project includes mobilization and demobilization, removing and disposing of a portion of the existing fire suppression system components, furnishing and installing new fire riser and suppression system components, preparing and painting the new and existing fire riser and suppression system components, and performing compliance tests. The estimated cost of construction is between $250,000 and $350,000. Bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii Specialty Contractor’s license. Key aspects of the project include:
