Stage Floor Demo & Rebuild

The City of Mountain View is seeking a qualified flooring contractor to demolish the existing 3,100‑sq‑ft sprung stage floor at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts and install a new theatrical “sprung” floor system, including vapor barrier, sleepers, resilient pads, sub‑floor, finish floor, paint, baseboards, thresholds, and trap reconstruction. The work must meet MFMA standards, be completed within a tight 18‑day window, and include all required bonds, insurance, and prevailing‑wage compliance. • Remove and dispose of the existing stage deck (≈ 3,100 sq ft). • Prepare concrete sub‑floor, install vapor barrier, sleepers, resilient pads, two‑layer sub‑floor, finish floor, paint, baseboards, thresholds, and rebuild the trap platform. • Provide a minimum one‑year warranty, performance and payment bonds (100 % of contract), a warranty bond (10 % of contract), and a bid deposit (≥ 10 % of bid).
