The Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority (VIHFA) invites sealed bids from qualified and licensed contractors for the completion of one affordable housing unit at Whispering Hills, Estate Donoe, Plot 2J-6. The unit is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom structure of approximately 1,389 sq. ft. that is near completion and requires finishing work. The scope of work includes termite treatment, landscaping, cement plaster, pump room installation, door frames, roof framing, roof finishing, interior doors, interior closet doors, water saver toilet, bathtub and faucet, shower and faucet, lavatory and faucet, kitchen sink and faucet, water heater, water pump and tank, laundry tub, self-contained sewer system, house bib, water certification, interior smoke detectors, light fixtures, switches, outlets, and covers, kitchen wall tiles, lower and upper kitchen cabinets, countertops, window operators, windows complete with screens, baseboards, exterior paint, interior paint, door trim, and site cleanup. • The contractor must supply all labor, tools, and materials needed to complete the project. • The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances. • The contractor must certify that they have not prepared this bid in collusion with any other bidder. • The contractor must agree to comply with the terms and conditions of the contract. • The contractor must provide a detailed breakdown of the costs for each item. • The contractor must provide a completion schedule and a payment schedule. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and bonding. • The contractor must comply with the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968.
