The US Air Force is conducting market research for a requirement to procure three 2026 John Deere 845R XUVs or equal utility terrain vehicles (UTVs). The vehicles will be utilized to support utility, transport, and logistics operations across varied terrain, including public roadways where street-legal compliance is required. The proposed vehicle(s) must meet or exceed the specified performance parameters, including physical dimensions, seating capacity, cargo box capacity, suspension, drivetrain, engine/power, towing capacity, ground clearance, and speed.
• The vehicles must be standard production models with all parts and configurations being factory-installed or authorized original equipment manufacturer (OEM) accessories.
• Custom fabrication that voids the manufacturer's warranty is not acceptable.
• The contractor shall provide new, current-year model COTS utility vehicles.
• The vehicles must be equipped with safety features such as full-size doors with windows, DOT-approved safety glass or polycarbonate windshield, 3-point safety seatbelts, Roll-Over Protection Structure (ROPS), side and rear-view mirrors, lighting package, and DOT-approved horn.
