Mat Loading Unit (MLU) Field Crane Sources Sought

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District, is conducting market research to identify parties capable of providing a new field crane for their Mat Loading Unit (MLU). The contractor shall provide one continuous duty cycle crane to replace the existing field crane used to load articulated concrete mat (ACM). The crane should have a basic operating weight of approximately 204,470 pounds, a ground pressure not exceeding 16 pounds per square inch, and a width not greater than 20 feet. The crane should also have a boom length of approximately 120 feet, a line pull of at least 44,000 pounds per foot, and a swing speed of up to 3.5 revolutions per minute. • The contract type is Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP). • The delivery timeline is within 180 days after contract award. • The delivery location is Ensley Engineer Yard, 2915 Riverport Road, Memphis, TN 38109. • The technical specifications are outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW).
