The US Navy is seeking a sole source contractor to replace and install three UPS units at the Navy Experimental Diving Unit. The contractor will provide replacement and installation services, including delivery, placement, installation, functional testing, and commissioning of the new UPS systems. The UPS units are critical to ensuring the divers' life support systems stay online during power outages. The contractor must have experience with the specific UPS systems and equipment being replaced. • The contract includes the replacement of three UPS units: one for the NEDU Control Room, one for the NEDU Medical Deck, and one for the NEDU Mezzanine Deck. • The UPS units are Eaton 9PX models with capacities of 8kVA and 11kVA. • The contractor must provide labor, tools, travel, and equipment to perform the services. • The contractor must have experience with the specific UPS systems and equipment being replaced. • The government does not expect significant savings through competition and does not expect significant and unacceptable delays that will negatively impact this requirement.
