USS RUSHMORE (LSD-47) SRBOC LAUNCHER BASE PLATE; PRESERVE

The US Navy is planning to issue a competitive solicitation for the preservation of the SRBOC launcher base plate on the USS RUSHMORE (LSD-47). The solicitation will be restricted to Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) and Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) holders located in Japan. The place of performance will be at the Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS) in Japan. The performance period is expected to be from October 12, 2026, to July 31, 2027. • The solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in Japan. • Offerors must be able to demonstrate their authorization to perform the required work within Japan at the time of proposal submission. • The US Navy will require necessary documentation to verify the status and compliance of the offeror with Japanese laws and regulations.
