Project No. 130018-13, Old Webster Sanitary Sewer Abandonment

The Montgomery County Environmental Services is seeking a qualified professional or team for cleaning and abandonment of approximately 634' of 8" vitrified clay sanitary sewer with abandonment of inlets in manhole (MH)7M0014. The scope of work includes jet cleaning the sewer, abandoning it by spotting approximately 1/2 Cu. Yd. of concrete in the bottom of each MH, and plugging the inlets to prevent loss of concrete. The contractor will be required to provide a lump sum price for the work and adhere to prevailing wage requirements. Key aspects of the job include: • Cleaning and abandoning approximately 634' of 8" vitrified clay sanitary sewer • Abandoning inlets in manhole (MH)7M0014 • Providing a lump sum price for the work • Adhering to prevailing wage requirements • Obtaining necessary insurance certificates and workers' compensation certificates
