Description
This opportunity involves the relocation of municipal water and sanitary sewer utilities along a corridor in Hastings, Nebraska. The work includes installing new 18‑in. PVC sanitary sewer pipe, new 10‑in. DIP water main, constructing multiple large manholes, removing existing pipelines, extensive concrete and paving work, tree removal, erosion control, and associated traffic and utility coordination. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services needed to complete the relocation in accordance with municipal specifications and local utility‑safety procedures.
• New 18‑in. PVC sewer pipe (≈870 LF) with four 60‑in. manholes and related concrete work.
• New 10‑in. DIP water main (≈280 LF) with fire‑hydrant package, fittings, and back‑fill/thrust‑block installation.
• Subsidiary items: tree removal (2 large pines), 185 SY erosion‑control blankets, seeding, and site restoration.
• Mandatory coordination with the Diggers Hotline, gas‑main inspection, and city traffic‑control offices.
