Description
The Town of Hancock is seeking bids for the construction of building envelope improvements, including insulation and air sealing, for the Hancock Town Office & Library Building. The project includes multiple building envelope improvements designed to improve the building's thermal efficiency. The scope of work consists of air sealing and insulation of the first floor ceiling, attic floors, and basement, as well as adjustments to the basement door. Bidders must submit an electronic copy of the completed bid form and review form, and must examine the town scope documents and visit the work site if necessary.
• The project requires a prime or general contractor to oversee the work and manage subcontractors.
• The contractor will be responsible for obtaining permits and historic clearance.
• The project must be completed by May 29, 2026.
