Merletti Classroom Expansion

The United States Secret Service is seeking information from vendors who can provide design-build services for the Merletti Classroom Expansion project. The project involves constructing an annex and requires a turn-key design-build effort. The contractor will be required to provide a capabilities statement, which should demonstrate their understanding, capability, approach, qualification, and experience in meeting the work requirements. The statement should address specific questions, such as experience with building auditoriums/multi-functional facilities, capacity for completing optional tasks, and experience with ascertaining Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) permits. Some key aspects of the project include: • Providing a turn-key design-build effort for the construction of the Merletti Classroom Expansion annex • Demonstrating experience with building auditoriums/multi-functional facilities • Completing optional tasks concurrently with the base contract • Obtaining MDE permits expeditiously • Providing value engineering ideas for the project • Managing the change order process • Completing the project within a 12-month period of performance
